One Tuesday a Month:

Hands On Healthy Cooking Classes for Kids (ages 10 to 14)

It is imperative that we teach the kids and adolescents healthy eating and cooking as soon as possible, at least before they go off to college.

Kids will learn how to fit snacks in a healthy diet; which snacks benefit their athletic abilities and which are "celebratory" snacks; the importance of fruits and vegetables improve to fight off "free radicals"; how much protein and carbohydrates are needed daily for adequate energy, activity and growth.

They will learn to prepare 2 healthy dishes, snacks and/or beverage, (and eat and enjoy them of course)

Instructor-Nutritionist, Peachy Seiden will plan the menu with your approval.

Sign up your kids ages 7-12

Cooking classes are from 11:30 AM - 1:15 PM or 12 noon to 1:45 PM, you choose the time.
